A death of an elderly couple in Fordyce has caused state police to open up an ongoing investigation, stirring up the local authorities.
On September 15th, around 11 a.m., Deputies from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department (DCSO), along with other officers from the department responded to a call of two unresponsive people inside their home on the 1700 block of West 4th street. When officers arrived on the scene, the bodies were discovered to be an elderly couple, that of David Parham, 81, and Holly Parham, 70. Both were residents of Fordyce with the county coroner pronouncing them dead at the scene.
The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division is opening up an investigation at the request of The Dallas County Sheriff’s Department. The deceased have been transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab, where the cause of death will be determined. Our thoughts and prayers are with family and friends of the couple at this time.
